Sanjay Patel [Aftab Shivdasani] is a wealthy Gujarati-speaking executive at an advertising firm who prides himself on dating and flirting with many women, often leaving heartbreak in his wake. He is carefree and outgoing, and he is very friendly with his male co-worker, Shekhar Ritesh Deshmukh, who represents the opposite approach to relationships and treats women with more restraint. Sanjay’s flirtatious lifestyle eventually lands him in trouble with three women—Loveleen Kapoor Divya Dutta, Seema, and Rita—culminating in Loveleen’s killing of him in a confrontation.

After his death, he appears before Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and asks for a second chance to mend his ways before the next Shivaratri. They grant him a chance to return to earth, but with a twist: to help him understand women, his gender is changed and he becomes a woman named Sanjana Patel Antara Mali. She takes on the role of Sanjay’s stepsister and convinces Loveleen that she is actually Sanjay, while seeking to learn what it means to be a woman.

As Sanjana works at the same advertising firm, she experiences the everyday challenges women face—catcalling, harassment, and social expectations—giving her a new perspective on the experiences of the other sex. She faces harassment herself as she tries to adapt to this new life, and she begins to see how some of the behaviors she used to engage in affect others.

One night, after a bar fight, a drunken Sanjana and Shekhar share a night together. In the morning, Sanjana has no memory of the encounter and accuses Shekhar of rape while she was unconscious. Soon, Sanjana discovers she is pregnant with his child. Sanjay’s body is found and identified by both Sanjana and Shekhar, and Sanjana is arrested in connection with his murder.

Sanjana eventually reveals to Shekhar that she is actually Sanjay, and with his help she proves her innocence, while Loveleen is arrested for Sanjay’s murder. At home, Sanjay wakes up from what appears to have been a terrible dream and realizes the error of his ways. This experience motivates him to reform his behavior and to start avoiding treating women as objects of flirtation.

In the vibrant world of a bustling Indian advertising agency, the story unfolds against a backdrop of colorful billboards, lively office chatter, and the rhythmic pulse of city life. The film balances playful humor with a deeper, almost mystical undercurrent, hinting that destiny sometimes intervenes in the most ordinary of settings. Its tone is a cheeky blend of comedy and introspection, inviting the audience to laugh while subtly questioning the ways we treat one another.

At the heart of this whirlwind is Sanjay Patel, a charismatic Gujarati executive who navigates relationships with the same confidence he uses to close deals. His magnetic presence and effortless flirtations make him a legend among his peers, yet his carefree attitude toward love leaves a trail of broken hearts. Sharing his workspace is Shekhar, a more measured colleague whose contrasting outlook on romance provides a steady counterpoint to Sanjay’s reckless charm, setting up a dynamic that fuels both tension and camaraderie.
