The corrupt DSP Surla makes his presence felt by publicly humiliating Daali at a toll plaza, a cruel publicity stunt that foreshadows a brutal tug-of-war between law and crime. Daali, smarting from this humiliation, threatens Raghavan—the father of Sowmya—and demands repayment of a loan through any means necessary, even if it pushes him to force Raghavan to swallow poison to keep a promise. Meanwhile, Sowmya files a formal complaint against Daali at Surla’s station, turning the case into a public test of power, justice, and accountability.

Back in Chennai, Thavapunniyam traces Salim’s former commander, who has relocated to a horse ranch, in an attempt to uncover Salim’s whereabouts. In retaliation, Salim targets Daali’s men and abducts six of them to avenge Burma and Sowmya, as well as the dog Hitler.
