Ambujakshi, alias “Nisha,” a film actress, arrives in Europe to spend vacations with her friend Deepa, a divorcee, and her two children Viswanath alias Vish and Bhagirathi alias Bags. While riding in a taxi, Ambujakshi recalls an early incident regarding her ex-boyfriend Madhanagopal, a wealthy entrepreneur. Three years ago, she was shooting a film with Suriya in a bright park, and Madhanangopal grew suspicious of her relationship with the actor. As they were returning, he let Ambujakshi drive his new car. Madhanangopal insisted she stop acting, but she refused, and their argument nearly led to a crash with a smaller white car. Unable to bear Madhanangopal’s jealousy, Ambujakshi ended the relationship and walked away.

Madhanagopal now suspects Ambujakshi may be involved with colleagues in the film industry. To confirm his theory, he hires detective Major Raja Mannar to tail her during a vacation cruise in Barcelona. Mannar takes the job partly to raise money for the hospital bills of his friend Rajan, who is diagnosed with cancer and being cared for by his wife Mallika. Contrary to Madhanangopal’s suspicions, Ambujakshi remains loyal, and when Mannar reports this, Madhanangopal refuses to pay him, feeling his suspicions were unfounded.

Disappointed, Mannar fabricates a story to Madhanangopal, claiming Ambujakshi is having a secret affair during her trip. He also presents himself as a manager of a security company to Ambujakshi, Deepa, and Deepa’s children, and becomes close to the group. While getting closer, Mannar tells Madhanangopal that Ambujakshi’s intentions are good, but the man she was seen with is of poor character. Madhanangopal, dissatisfied, ends the relationship. In the background, Madhanangopal’s mother Indira, who never liked Ambujakshi, calls her brother to report that Madhanangopal has broken up and that Sunanda should be married to Madhanangopal as previously arranged.

As Mannar recalls his past as an army officer, he reveals that he lost his wife Juliet three years ago in a car accident. Ambujakshi realizes the accident was caused by her during the quarrel with Madhanangopal. The two decide to confront the truth, but Ambujakshi misidentifies Kunju Kurup as Madhanangopal’s detective, slaps him, and proclaims her love for Mannar. Meanwhile, Rajan undergoes an operation after chemotherapy in an effort to stay alive. To complicate matters, Madhanangopal announces he will visit them in Venice.

In a decisive turn, Mannar and Deepa, now aware that Mannar himself was Madhanangopal’s real spy, devise a plan with the help of Kunju Kurup and his wife Manju Kurup to mislead Madhanangopal and trigger the final breakup with Ambujakshi. When Madhanangopal arrives, a cascade of mix-ups and misunderstandings unfolds among the group. In the end, Madhanangopal realizes Ambujakshi has fallen in love with Mannar and accepts it, even as Rajan’s cancer battles begin to ease and clear signs of recovery appear. Mallika calls Mannar with tears of relief to share the good news, and the story closes with a warm, hopeful note as the cruise heads back to India.

Back home, Madhanangopal and Deepa begin a new relationship, while Major Raja Mannar and Ambujakshi pair off, each ready to pursue a life built on trust and shared history. The film weaves themes of jealousy, loyalty, sacrifice, and the healing power of truth, delivering a long, winding journey from a chance vacation to a reaffirmation of love and friendship.
