Vidya Chauhan is a schoolteacher living in Delhi with her husband, Ravi, and their teenage daughter Tia. After a school annual function, she decides to take a deserted route to escape a massive traffic jam. While the two are stuck in traffic, Vidya phones her friend Ritu and begins to recount the night’s events, but the moment is shattered when Vidya and Tia end up involved in a severe accident. What follows is a nightmare: the Chief Minister’s son, Apurva Malik, and his friends kidnap the women, take them to a farmhouse, and subject them to a brutal gang rape. Tia dies from the assault, while Vidya survives and names her attackers. Yet their influence helps them slip away, leaving Vidya to grapple with the horror and injustice of the system.

Vidya, whose husband leaves her after the attack, moves in with Ritu and steels herself to hunt down the killers of her daughter. Her resolve grows into a mission of retribution. The first target is Sikander Beniwal, whose bike she damages by loosening the screws on its tyres, causing a catastrophic accident that kills him. She jots down the numbers and names from his phone and begins to connect the dots. Among the troubling patterns, she discovers that Inder Jhangra has been abusing Meenal, a student and Tia’s friend, prompting Vidya to help Meenal poison Inder when he tries to hurt her in a hotel room. Meanwhile, Inspector Akhil Sachdeva starts to suspect Vidya, though he has no proof to frame his suspicions.

As the hunt tightens, Apurva Malik’s men beat up Ravi to pressure Vidya into backing off, heightening the danger and urgency of her quest. One night, Ritu takes Vidya to dinner and unknowingly to a restaurant owned by Harshit Poojari, another one of the rapists. Seeing Vidya on CCTV, Harshit calls Apurva, who orders his men to seize her. He and his friends close in, following Vidya to a bathroom where a fierce struggle ensues. Vidya manages to stab Harshit and escape in a taxi. She is pursued by Kamran Qureshi, Poojari’s ally, who rams his car into her taxi and shoots the driver, only to drop his gun in the chaos. Vidya seizes the weapon and kills Kamran before racing home. Back with Ritu, Vidya reveals what she has learned, while Inspector Sachdeva returns but leaves without solid evidence. The relentless pursuit continues as Apurva’s men assault Ritu, sending her to the hospital and pushing Vidya to press on with greater determination.

To trap the remaining culprits, Vidya adopts a false identity to meet Sofi, a property dealer, at a building under construction. She holds Sofi at gunpoint and forces him to call Apurva, pressing him to surrender. Sofi then leaps to his death from the building, knowing Apurva would not spare him otherwise. Sutti Mama, the driver who brought Sofi, witnesses Vidya emerge from the building with a gun and drives away in his car, only to be struck by a truck and die on the spot. As the fear and danger escalate, Apurva orders his father to tell the cops to stop Vidya, but Vidya presses on. In a final, high-stakes confrontation, she slips into the Chief Minister’s house during Holi and kills Apurva Malik and his father, before walking away as the house erupts into a massive fireball.
