In Search of Lovecraft 2008

Rebecca Marsh, a young reporter bored with the routine of her current assignment, is sent to host a Halloween program centered on H.P. Lovecraft, the legendary horror writer known for worldbuilding that stretches beyond conventional fiction. As she digs into the project, she encounters a provocative idea: Lovecraft’s tales may not be mere stories, but prophecies born from dreams that tap into a vast, superconscious resource called the akashic records. While Rebecca approaches this notion with healthy skepticism, she and her assistant Amber soon find their beliefs challenged as strange events threaten their lives and pull them into a chilling reality.

To guide their investigation, the team turns to Professor Sutton, an eminent occult expert who helps them see connections between Lovecraft’s fiction and real-world forces.
