Amar Felix, an employee at a clothing store, secretly records a woman in a changing room and uses the footage to blackmail her for money. This pattern isn’t new for him; he’s pulled similar scams on other women and their families, operating from an abandoned clothing warehouse he owns. One day, a mysterious intruder enters the warehouse, kills Amar, and sets the building alight with his body trapped inside, leaving the case shrouded in smoke and questions.

Weeks later, DYSP Dineshan is pulled into the investigation by Allen Jacob, a Malayali-Tamil CI with the Karnataka Police. Allen has been assigned to the case and reveals he has an eyewitness, Alisha, whose identity is protected under the investigation and who goes by the name Ann. Alisha, who possesses a remarkable photographic memory, insists she can identify the killer. Dineshan offers the eyewitness a safe house in his building, where Haran Shankar, a part-time karate instructor with obsessive-compulsive tendencies shaped by an abusive father, lives alongside his sister Devika Shankar and half-sister Neeraja.

During a scooter-theft incident in the neighborhood, Haran demonstrates a talent for drawing learned from his late mother, a police sketch artist. Impressed, Allen asks Haran to sketch the killer based on Ann’s description. The first sketch eerily matches [Haran Shankar]’s face, triggering suspicions about his involvement. Yet a second sketch drawn at the crime scene yields a different face, and Ann identifies that one as the killer, deepening the mystery.

A lookout notice is issued, and the tension tightens around Haran. As the investigation unfolds, it becomes clear that Haran may be closer to the truth than anyone realizes, even as his uncle, Dr. Sudharshan, urges caution. Ann holds Sudharshan at gunpoint after realizing that Ann’s ability to recognize faces is unreliable, and Allen arrives, addressing Ann as Alisha to anchor the human story behind the apparent memory lapses.

Four weeks earlier, [Alisha Abdul Samad], a news presenter, learns from Nakul, a hacker, about Amar’s crimes and schemes. Driven to expose him, she secretly enters Amar’s warehouse but is caught in the fire set by Haran and escapes, only to be struck by a truck, which triggers prosopagnosia and complicates her ability to recognize faces going forward.

Allen’s attempt to arrest Haran is complicated when another man, Ameer Ali, surrenders and confesses, seemingly clearing Haran of guilt. Yet Haran later confesses to Alisha that he killed Amar after discovering Amar had raped his sister Neeraja and her friend Sakina. The motive becomes personal: Amar had exploited a chain of blackmail against Ansar, who is Ansar Ali, and Haran’s fury erupts as a protective brother. The revelation exposes a web of guilt and coercion that ties Amar, Ansar, Ameer, and others to a deeper conspiracy.

The next day, Allen vanishes, and Haran realizes that Allen is chasing Amar’s hard drive, a device containing incriminating videos. In a tense car chase, Allen targets Haran and Alisha, steals Haran’s disguise to approach Dineshan, and ends up killing Dineshan to retrieve the hard drive. Alisha misreads the scene, blaming Haran for the murder, until Haran proves his innocence in a subsequent confrontation. Across this maze of deception, Allen’s backstory emerges: he’s a suspended officer who abused the Witness Protection Scheme to sell new identities to criminals, including business magnate Chinappa [Raghunath Chinappa slug: adithya-menon], effectively monetizing human shadows and hiding truths behind new names.

In one case, Allen sold the identity of Chithrammal, a journalist’s widow, to Chinappa, who then attempted to kill her. To silence Chithrammal permanently, Allen hired Amar to blackmail Ansar to facilitate her murder during a flight to Bangalore. Amar’s own actions spiraled, leading to the abduction of Neerja and Sakina for his schemes, which braided the fates of several characters together.

The tension peaks as Allen seizes Devika and Neerja at Devika’s hospital headquarters, while police question Sudharshan about Haran’s past. It’s revealed that Haran is not just a trained operative of fear and precision—he is a former NSG commando and an active Sky Marshal. In a dramatic turn, Haran boards Chitrammal’s flight and, with both Nakul and Alisha’s assistance, uncovers seven other witnesses whose identities Allen had sold. Allen plans a catastrophic crash with the help of a coerced air traffic controller, but Haran disables the flight’s transponder, averting disaster and saving countless lives. Allen manages to escape again, but the MRI radiation fries the hard drive, stripping him of crucial evidence.

Weeks later, Allen threatens to flee on a private jet. As the Sky Marshal for the flight, Haran confronts him mid-air. In a final, decisive confrontation, Haran Shankar overpowers Allen and his bodyguards, avenging Dineshan’s death and bringing down the criminal enterprise that corrupted so many lives. The story closes with a return to balance and justice for all the victims, vindicating the quiet resolve of those who refused to let fear redefine their lives.
