A crew of eight amateur filmmakers approaches a renowned producer Ram Gopal Varma to finance their project, hoping a big-name endorsement will validate their vision. The veteran producer, however, is not impressed by their lack of experience and politely, but firmly, declines their directorial ambitions, offering instead to buy their script. The rejection is a setback, but it only hardens their resolve to prove themselves on their own terms. Among them is Siddhu Jonnalagadda as the Filmmaker, whose steady confidence helps keep the group focused on the challenge ahead. They choose to showcase their talent by pushing forward with a bold plan: make a short film that will show what they’re capable of before anyone can dismiss them again.

The team heads to an abandoned chemical factory on the city’s outskirts, a place with a dark rumor of tragedy. A fire once ripped through the site, claiming several workers, and locals say the grounds are haunted by the echoes of those who perished. The crew immerses themselves in the atmosphere, hoping the creepy surroundings will translate into a powerful story. To help bring their vision to life, two film crew members step in to aid the process: Dhanraj Sukhram and Bhupal Raju. They are joined by a small circle of colleagues, including two actresses, Mrudhula Bhaskar and Gayatri Gupta, and an actor, Nandu Vijay Krishna, who round out the makeshift crew. The setting is tense, and the atmosphere bristles with the sense that the place will test every one of them.

As filming begins, the boundaries between art and danger blur. A group of burglars—led by a figure who is first introduced as the Burglar J. D. Chakravarthi—intends to use the factory as a hideout after robbing a wealthy businessman. The burglars’ presence complicates the shoot, and soon the line between the film they’re making and the real danger outside becomes indistinguishable. The tension intensifies when the Injured Burglar Jeeva and the rest of the crew start to suspect one another, each side unsure who to trust as people disappear one by one. The abandoned place becomes a living nightmare, a backdrop that seems to feed the paranoia and fear blooming among them.

In a cruel twist, an unknown killer begins to stalk the den where they hide, and the group’s fear grows into a deadly game of cat and mouse. It’s later revealed that the killer is a psychopathic serial offender who has become unhinged after losing his family in the factory fire—an embodiment of the haunting legends that surround the site. As the danger escalates, the group’s fragile alliances fracture; paranoia leads to violent confrontations, and the survivors must decide who to trust as the body count rises. The unknown killer’s presence casts a pall over everything, turning every corridor and stairwell into a potential trap.

After a brutal reign of terror, only a single crew member and a single burglar manage to escape the carnage. The burglar defeats the psychopath and burns him, ending the immediate threat. The last sequence unfolds with a stark, unsettling calm as the burglar drops the surviving crew member at her residence. In a moment that lingers on the edges of danger and desire, he treats her with a mix of raw truth and something almost reckless, a feeling that leaves her unsettled as he hands over his mobile number, a small fragment of human connection in a night of chaos. The film closes on a note that mixes relief with unease, leaving questions about what the men and women behind the camera learned, and what they owe to the eerie, echoing place that almost swallowed them whole.
