Nikki [Akshay Oberoi] is a skilled boxer and the wayward son of real estate tycoon Kehri Singh [Pankaj Tripathi]. He’s frequently sidelined in favor of his sister Preet [Ragini Khanna], whom Kehri treats as his lucky charm. Kehri runs Preet Real Estate, steering a powerful company in his daughter’s name. When Preet returns from France after completing her architecture studies, she persuades her father to shift focus from a sprawling multi-billion real estate project to creating a park on land near a forest, a move that challenges the family’s big-ticket plans.

Nikki places a large bet and loses. On their way to a concert, they kidnap Murthy [Srinivas Sunderrajan], a guitarist who was due to perform, in a desperate bid to recover the money Nikki owes. The dealer gives them three days to pay the 10 million. Nikki devises a plan to kidnap Preet to settle the debts. With the help of his friend Rajvir, they hire a small-time crook, Jonty, to bring Preet to a safe house that turns out to be less secure than expected. Jonty’s demand for more money spirals into a botched operation. En route to Rajvir’s home, they are stopped at a toll booth; Jonty erupts in anger over the delay, and when the driver pulls a gun and shoots the toll booth operator, the bullet narrowly grazes Jonty’s ears and Rajvir abandons him.

Nikki’s mother receives a ransom call from Rajvir demanding 30 million. Later, Jonty calls from Preet’s phone, and the call is answered by Kehri, who grows confused and then convinces his estranged brother Bhoopi to help locate his daughter.

A flashback reveals decades earlier when Kehri and Bhoopi bury Kehri’s newborn daughter—an act born from regressive beliefs about girls, which a sage suggests could be reversed if a girl is adopted later. The couple adopts Preet, and fortunes begin to change: Kehri is offered a lucrative deal for his land by a builder.

Back in the present, Kehri’s partner resents the shift away from the grand park plan to Preet’s idea and knows about the betting and kidnapping mess. He offers Nikki a chance to bail out if Nikki agrees to take his father’s place in the business.

Bhoopi tracks Jonty and, through him, finds Nikki’s hideout where Preet is being held. Preet escapes with Murthy, leading to a confrontation between Bhoopi and Nikki. Nikki kills Bhoopi and injures his father. Later, Preet, now with Murthy, asks for a ride home. On the way back, Nikki shoots Murthy, and a struggle with Preet ends in a car accident. Nikki, Rajveer, and Chintu escape, watching as the car slides into a lake, leaving Preet and Murthy to drown together.

Nikki takes control of his father’s business and attends the foundation-stone ceremony for the project that had been planned on the land Preet advocated for as a park.
