Raghuveer's death and Gopi's upbringing

Raghuveer, a RAW field operative, is killed during a classified mission. Sathya fakes both Raghuveer's and Gopi's deaths to keep Gopi safe, and raises Gopi as Arjun Kumar. Gopi grows up dreaming of joining RAW, but his early applications meet repeated rejection, fueling his determination.

175th RAW application leads to Trinetra recruitment

After 174 failed applications to RAW, Arjun submits his 175th and mentions his father's name Raghuveer to gain attention. Sathya initially resists Arjun's desire to join the service for fear of losing him, but Arjun convinces him to support his dream. He is recruited into Trinetra, RAW's covert weapon, and trained for behind-the-lines operations.

Trinetra briefing on Al-Mujahideen

Trinetra's chief Damodar briefs the new recruits about Al-Mujahideen, a terrorist outfit with Rana as its elusive leader. Arjun is trained by Nadia Qureshi and Shaam, learning to infiltrate, recon, sabotage, and assassinate behind enemy lines. The recruits understand that RAW would disavow them if captured.

Arjun and Sameera: love and identity

Arjun begins dating Dr. Sameera Rao, a Harvard-educated psychology graduate. Sameera introduces her uncle as her father and reveals that her parents died in an accident. Arjun then reveals his true identity as Gopi to Sameera, cementing a personal bond amidst his secret life.

The 1112 clue and the mistaken date

Arjun spots an Al-Mujahideen operative, Hamza, near the Trinetra office and tails him. He retrieves a clue marked 1112, which the team initially interprets as an attack plan on 11 December. The code is later revealed to be reversed, meaning the fateful date is 12 November, altering the suspected target.

Graduation day: posting and honor

During the graduation, Acharya attends as chief guest and the recruits receive their postings. Arjun is named a top spy and given Trinetra number 116, tasked with infiltration, recon, sabotage, and assassination behind enemy lines. Nadia Qureshi and Shaam oversee his training, with Leena Rajan assigned to Dhaka and Basha to primary security.

Attack at graduation and Arjun's betrayal

On graduation day, the convoy is attacked as Arjun's warning attempt is too late. Basha and Acharya are killed, Damodar dies from a poisoned whiskey that Arjun had earlier presented, and Arjun is branded a terrorist kingpin by the PMO. Sameera is killed in the chaos, and Arjun escapes, heading to Rajahmundry to find Sathya.

Nadia and Shaam pursue Arjun; the mole in Trinetra

Following the attack, Nadia and Shaam are tasked with tracking Arjun. Nadia discovers Arjun’s past in a private bank locker she accesses under his name and realizes there is a mole within Trinetra. Arjun’s escape seeds a chase that puts pressure on the agency to identify the traitor.

Sameera's true identity and journey to Chittagong

Arjun learns Sameera’s true identity as Sameera Sheikh, a Bangladeshi-born Harvard psychology graduate. Sameera’s uncle commits cyanide suicide when confronted, and Arjun, aided by Sathya, escapes to Visakhapatnam and then by sea to Chittagong. Leena, a sympathetic ally, helps him survive and continue the pursuit of truth.

Infiltration of Al-Mujahideen HQ and Rana exposed

In Chittagong, Arjun and Leena infiltrate Al-Mujahideen's HQ and uncover training DVDs that reveal brainwashing techniques. The footage confirms Rana's identity as Raghuveer, Arjun's father, who was a Trinetra agent thought dead. The revelation shakes Arjun and reframes the hunt.

Raghuveer's death and Sathya's cover story

A flashback explains Raghuveer's death twenty years earlier in Sikkim, when he compromised Trinetra's agents and was shot by Raghuveer. Sathya, Raghuveer's rival, kills Raghuveer but then fakes both their deaths to protect Arjun. He resigns from RAW, moves to Rajahmundry with Gopi, and the RAW agency is relaunched later.

Final confrontation: Rana's base and Arjun's victory

Rana arrives at Sathya's hideout and taunts Arjun as the man who risked everything. RAW commands arrive to engage the Al-Mujahideen forces, and Arjun confronts Rana in his base. In a decisive struggle, Arjun shoots Rana to death, ending Raghuveer's years-long manipulation.

Shaam's exposure and death

In the aftermath, Shaam is revealed to be the mole inside Trinetra. Arjun accuses Shaam of poisoning the whiskey and orchestrating Sameera's death. Trinetra soldiers shoot Shaam to death, removing another threat to Arjun's mission.

Resolution and Sameera's letter

Nadia reminds Arjun of Acharya's words about responsibility to the nation and supports him in staying the course. She hands him a letter from Sameera found in his bank locker; in it, Sameera apologizes for not disclosing her identity and shares her feelings. The story closes with Arjun committed to his mission.
