Eddie Devane is a young sailor who has made a living through a string of inventory-related scams carried out with his partner-in-crime, Howard. As he edges toward discharge, he is assigned to escort a prisoner from the Marine Corps Base at Camp Lejeune alongside the stern, no-nonsense Chief Petty Officer Rock Reilly. Eddie resents this assignment, feeling his freedom slipping away even before the paperwork is signed. What starts as a routine transfer quickly spirals into a test of nerves, trust, and fate.

From the moment they hit the road, Eddie, Rock, and the mysterious prisoner, a striking young woman named Toni Johnson, collide in personality and purpose. Eddie’s feisty arrogance clashes with Rock’s disciplined command, and Toni’s stubborn will keeps both men guessing. The trio’s already delicate balance shatters when Toni makes several bold moves to escape: first slipping away in a diner disguise, then sabotaging the van by concealing tampons in the gas tank, which brings the vehicle to a dangerous stall in the middle of nowhere.
