Brij Mohan Gupta, a man in his mid-30s, is unhappy with his life and financial strain. He keeps a 24-year-old mistress, Simmi, while his wife Sweety dominates the household. Debt and ambition push him toward risky schemes to improve his situation.

The loan setup: a risky ruse with Raghu and Suri

To secure quick cash, Brij takes a loan of 2.5 million from Raghu via a deal arranged by Suri. Suri sells off Brij's old material and leaves him to pay Raghu, creating a trap he can't easily escape. Raghu begins threatening and harassing Brij as the scheme spirals.

Revelations, intimacy with danger: Brij's confession and escape

Beniwal learns from Sweety that Amar is actually Brij but keeps the truth to himself at first. After a tense interrogation, Amar eventually admits he is Brij, though the police are skeptical. Brij is sentenced to life imprisonment, but Beniwal uses a payoff to free him; he then escapes with the stolen money.
