Brahmanandam, a middle-class young man with a sharp wit and keen observational skills, is often sarcastic and self-centered in his personal life, caring only for himself despite his passion for comedy. Throughout his journey, he faces numerous struggles, attempting to carve out a successful career in entertainment, but luck seems to constantly evade him. His persistent failures leave him feeling disheartened and aimless, especially after his girlfriend ends their relationship, adding emotional distress to his already turbulent life.

In his pursuit of success, Brahma decides to sign with a well-known agency that promises to secure him large shows and opportunities. However, to make this happen, he needs to gather a hefty sum of 5 lakhs, a daunting challenge considering his financial struggles. Brahma’s situation is worsened by his financial woes, which prevent him from achieving his dreams and lead to feelings of failure and frustration. Despite his serious dedication to his craft, recognition seems forever out of reach, leaving him feeling trapped in a cycle of disappointment.

During this rough patch, Brahma is unexpectedly reconnected with his grandfather, Ananda Ram Murthy [ /actor/priya-vadlamani], a retired writer who had been abandoned by his younger son and now resides in an old age home. Murthy, who has lost interest in his own life, longs to spend his remaining days in his ancestral village. He asks Brahma to accompany him there, hoping to find solace and peace in his final years. However, Brahma, overwhelmed by his personal woes, initially shows little interest in helping his grandfather.

Knowing Brahma’s financial predicament, Murthy suggests that they sell the family assets to fund Brahma’s aspirations. Tempted by the idea, Brahma takes his grandfather to the village, only to discover that their so-called “ancestral home” is nonexistent—they don’t actually possess any assets, and they’re not even from the village they believed was their origin. It turns out Murthy had been manipulating him all along, with a hidden motive linked to a long-lost love.

The real revelation unfolds: Murthy had fallen in love with a woman during his time in the old age home, and she happens to be the mother of the village’s sarpanch [ /actor/sampath-raj]. This unexpected love story involves two elderly people seeking companionship and solace in their final days, rather than the youthful romances one might typically expect. Murthy’s sense of longing stirs Brahma’s empathy, and he finds himself caught in a moral dilemma.

Despite his desire to leave the village and return to city life, circumstances force Brahma to stay longer. He is entrusted with a critical task by the sarpanch, who asks him to unite a 70-year-old couple that has been torn apart. The village is isolated, shutting down early each evening, with no internet, no mobile network, and only an STD booth as a link to the outside world. Brahma’s mission becomes to bring harmony to this elderly couple—an act that stirs him to reflect on love, companionship, and the importance of human connection.
