In this tense landscape, a young replicant named Trixie, assaulted by human thugs, is rescued by Iggy Cygnus, a hardened replicant ex-soldier who deserted after discovering that the “enemy” they hunt are themselves replicas. In the wake of this collapse, the Wallace Corporation steps in to acquire Tyrell, initiating a cautious restart of replicant manufacture about a decade later.
