A corrupt police officer, ACP Rane, assaults a car crash victim and beats him, prompting massive student protests. Akira stays mostly on the sidelines but quietly plans to deliver a petition to the Commissioner.

Maya records evidence; bag is stolen; blackmail scheme

Maya secretly records Rane discussing disposing of evidence. When her bag, including the camera, is stolen, an unknown figure uses the footage to blackmail the officer. The case becomes personal for Maya.

Maya is murdered; Rabiya steps in

Rane, fearing exposure, brutally kills Maya. SP Rabiya takes charge of the murder investigation, pursuing the truth despite intimidation. Tension mounts as the case deepens.

Bag of stolen items found; Akira is targeted

The college proposes pardons for the thieves if stolen items are returned anonymously. Akira finds a bag of stolen goods outside her dorm, including Maya's camera. Rane's men grab her with the camera and plan to kill her and two other witnesses.

Akira escapes and is framed as insane

During the confrontation, Rane's men reload their guns and Akira escapes. They declare her mentally unstable, aided by a corrupt doctor who subjects her to electroconvulsive therapy. The system seems determined to break her.

Escape from asylum and captivity of Rane's associate

With help from another mentally ill patient, Akira murders the doctors and guards and escapes the asylum. She abducts one of Rane's associates and uses him to prove her innocence.

Political leverage blocks Rane's arrest

Rabiya arrives with an arrest warrant for Rane, but the Commissioner blocks the action because the car-crash victim was the brother of a powerful politician. The threat of riots looms large.

Final showdown and Akira's vindication

In the climactic confrontation, Akira defeats Rane and his associates in hand-to-hand combat. She then returns to the mental asylum, and after a brief period, is declared completely sane and released.
