Varun is a renowned blind chef and the owner of a popular restaurant in Chennai. One night, Deepa visits the restaurant asking for leftover food for the homeless, and Varun lends a helping hand, gradually drawn to her with each of her visits. At the same time, Varun’s close relative, Sadhana, approaches his parents with a clear intention to marry Varun, and her proposal is accepted by the family. With a hopeful heart, Varun plans to propose to Deepa in his own restaurant, only to find her in tears. She explains that fearsome loan sharks are pressuring for money, and her father has promised to repay the debt within three days. Varun vows to help, even if it means tapping into his own savings.

That same night, catastrophe strikes — Varun is involved in an accident that temporarily restores his sight. He spends three weeks in the hospital, his medical bills paid from his savings, leaving him feeling guilty for not doing more sooner. When he’s discharged, Deepa has vanished, and the search for her resumes in silence. As his family pushes him toward marriage with [Sadhana], Varun finds himself torn between the girl he has grown to care for since childhood and the grip of a promise he made to Deepa.

Weeks pass, and an old man arrives at the restaurant with alarming news: his daughter Deepa has been kidnapped because they cannot return the money in time. Varun calms him and devises a plan to hand over his wedding jewelry to the kidnapper, only to be swindled in the process. The mystery deepens when Deepa’s father is later found dead in a road accident near Kanyakumari. Determined to uncover the truth, Varun travels to Kanyakumari with Panju, assuming a journalist’s alias to investigate unidentified road accident victims. They chase down clues linked to a hotel, a phone number, and a car involved in the crash, eventually tracking the owner who is blind.

During their inquiry, they come across photographs of his girlfriend Vasundhara, and with Sadhana’s help, they identify her as Deepa — Varun’s ex-girlfriend. The revelation reframes the entire case: Vasundhara is a seasoned con artist who targets blind men, weaving stories of urgent needs for money to manipulate them into giving up their resources. Varun and Panju compile a list of possible targets, and Sadhana— aided by her journalist colleagues — uncovers a plan to con another blind man in Erode. They hurry to intercept Vasundhara, navigating through a series of twists and near-misses.

In the climactic sequence, Varun and Panju close in on Vasundhara in Erode and bring her plan to a grinding halt. The operation culminates in her capture, and the narrative closes with Panju receiving well-deserved recognition for his tireless efforts in foiling the scam and bringing the con artist to justice. The story leaves audiences with a sense of justice served, friendships steadied, and the idea that courage and community support can illuminate even the darkest deceptions.
