This discrepancy nudges them toward deeper questions about the prince’s fate and the truth behind the shadowed legend.

Their investigations take a personal turn when they befriend Numkang, the daughter of a stern administrator known as Mr Sawaeng, whose reputation for harsh discipline casts a long shadow over the campus. She admires Daovadueng and believes there may be more to his story than the official lines allow. The brothers also cross paths with Father Theodore, who, like many on campus, has his own opinions about the prince’s death. Together, the five begin to test the limits of the school’s myths and the memories that cling to its walls. In a bid to reach out to Daovadueng, they turn to an old, forbidden tool: a Ouija board. The improvised séance includes Numkang and becomes a gateway to something they did not anticipate.

What they contact first is a revelation about Daovadueng’s death: it was not suicide, as the records had long implied, but murder. The revelation, however, does not end with a quiet confession. A broken planchette on the Ouija board seems to unleash Chatta, a malevolent spirit born from bullying and torment, who possesses the weak-willed Sihn. The possession changes the dynamics of the group and unsettles the boy’s friends, who find themselves facing not only a hidden crime but a supernatural force that has chosen a target in their own ranks.

As the haunting intensifies, the investigation is pushed aside by fear and spiraling danger. The possessed Sihn becomes less cooperative and more of a liability, pushing the others away from their pursuit of the truth. The story’s tension peaks when Trai, the ambitious member of the group, sneaks out to meet Numkang and, with help from a mysterious stranger, climbs into a dorm room through a window. The attempt ends in tragedy as Trai falls to his death, leaving the group to reckon with the human costs of their quest for answers.

In parallel, the past intrudes on the present when the 1952 registration is re-examined. The five men discover that Daovadueng is not listed among the admitted students, a fact that contradicts the celebrated memory of his achievements. The threads of the mystery tighten as Chatta continues to exert his brutal influence, orchestrating killings that target the seniors and a female teacher, while the group struggles to understand who is truly behind the violence.

A crucial memory surfaces: Father Theodore recalls his earlier mistakes in ignoring Chatta’s pleas for help, which played a role in the prince’s tragic arc and the bullies’ steady grip on the school. The five friends finally move to rescue Numkang, who is in danger of being buried alive by Chatta and Sihn. In a climactic confrontation, they retrieve a St. George spear from a statue and call on Daovadueng’s spirit for aid. The united effort culminates in a confrontation in which Sihn, still under Chatta’s influence, is killed, bringing an end to the violent hauntings.

The aftermath delivers a somber resolution. Mr Choo, the long-serving janitor who had once warned them and who knew more than he let on, makes a false confession before dying, bearing the burden of responsibility for the district’s dark history. The school’s “wolfpack”—the five friends—completes their journey through St. George with a renewed sense of tradition and a more compassionate, cooperative dynamic among themselves as they step into roles of seniors. Father Theodore’s death marks a closing chapter, while Brother Vivad steps into his seat, signaling a new era for the school.
