Weronika Rosati, born Weronika Anna Rosati on 9 January 1984 in Warsaw, Poland, is a versatile Polish actress whose career spans over two decades and bridges both European and Hollywood productions. The daughter of economist and former MEP Dariusz Rosati and fashion designer Teresa Rosati, she spent her early childhood abroad—in the United States and Switzerland—before returning to Poland, acquiring fluency in English and French and shaping a multicultural outlook that would later inform her acting choices. After early theatre training at Warsaw’s Ochota Theatre and the Halina and Jan Machulski Private Acting School, she briefly enrolled at the National Film School in Łódź before leaving to film the popular soap L for Love, a role that made her a household name in Poland and marked the beginning of a prolific television career.

Her film debut came in Patryk Vega’s cult classic Pitbull (2005), earning her two Golden Duck nominations, and she quickly moved into international cinema with an uncredited cameo in David Lynch’s Inland Empire (2006). Over the next decade, Rosati built an impressive résumé that includes roles in The Iceman, Bullet to the Head, HBO’s Luck, and a recurring part in NCIS: Los Angeles, while continuing to headline Polish productions such as Manhunt (which garnered a Polish Film Award nomination for Best Actress) and the Venice‑premiered drama Never Gonna Snow Again.

Beyond acting, Rosati is a passionate advocate for victims of domestic abuse, founding the Siła Kobiety Foundation in 2019 after publicly sharing her own experiences of violence. Her activism has earned her the Polish Glamour Woman of the Year award for activism and positioned her as a key figure in Poland’s Me Too movement. Balancing work between Warsaw and Los Angeles, she also ventured into entrepreneurship with the vegan skincare brand Lajuu (2021) and continues to influence both cinematic and social spheres. She is mother to one daughter, Elizabeth Valentina, born in 2017.
