Patar made international headlines in 2009 with his animated film, A Town Called Panic, co-written and co-directed with Stéphane Aubier. Notably, it was the first stop-motion film to be screened at the festival, marking a significant milestone in the history of animated cinema. Patar's impact did not stop there.
