Working alongside Vincent Patar, Aubier managed to enchant the audiences at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival where their creation was the first stop-motion film ever to be screened. This accomplishment marked Aubier's initiation into the elite circle of innovative filmmakers who garnered attention on a global scale.
In 2013, another notable animated film, Ernest & Celestine was brought to life, once again, under Aubier's expert direction, this time partnering with Patar and a new collaborator, Benjamin Renner.
