Tatum Beatrice O'Neal (born November 5, 1963) is an American actress with a notable career spanning from 1973 to the present. She is predominantly known for her performance in Paper Moon alongside her father, Ryan O'Neal, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 10, making her the youngest person ever to win a competitive Academy Award. O'Neal continued her career with films like The Bad News Bears, Nickelodeon, and Little Darlings, and guest roles in TV series like Sex and the City, 8 Simple Rules, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She was born in Los Angeles, California, to actors Ryan O'Neal and Joanna Moore.

O'Neal's later career included only a handful of films over a 15-year period, one of which was Basquiat (1996). In the early 2000s, she returned to acting with guest appearances in popular TV shows and reality series like Dancing with the Stars. O'Neal has had a tumultuous personal life.
