Taron Egerton is a Welsh actor, known for his remarkable performances in both stage and on-screen roles. Born on 10 November 1989, Egerton kickstarted his acting career after earning his degree from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2012. He garnered significant recognition for his role in the action-comedy flicks Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), and the sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017). Besides action-comedy, Egerton's talent shines in the realm of biographical films. He portrayed military officer Edward Brittain in the drama Testament of Youth (2014), the title character in the sports-focused Eddie the Eagle (2016), and even embraced singing to embody legend Elton John in Rocketman (2019). His masterful portrayal of Elton John earned him a prestigious Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. Despite the accolades, Egerton faced commercial and critical failures with films like Billionaire Boys Club and an action-adventure Robin Hood in 2018.
