Sarah Natochenny, born in 1987, is a Russian-American voice actress and editor highly recognized as the voice behind Ash Ketchum and various other figures in the English dub of Pokémon. She also voiced Alicia in the video game Bullet Witch and was an editor for documentaries across networks like MSNBC. Her assisting editing credits include the films Life of Crime, Cold Comes the Night, Worst Friends, and Cruise. Originally from Forest Hills, a neighborhood in New York City's Queens borough, she was a recipient of a bronze medal in rhythmic gymnastics at Junior Olympics at the age of 12. Her educational journey took her through Stephen A. Halsey JHS 157 and Brooklyn Technical High School, before studying at prestigious institutions like the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Magnet Theatre.

Her career took a significant turn at 18 when she replaced Veronica Taylor as Ash Ketchum's voice for the English-language dub of Pokémon from its ninth season in 2006. However, this alteration led to fan backlash, contributing to Natochenny's struggle with depression.
