Biography

Who Is Noah James?

Noah James was born in Newcastle, Australia in 2001 and is 25 years old. Credited on films since 2021, as an actor. The background, training and the roles that shaped the career.

Noah Paul James, born on February 14, 2001, in Newcastle, Australia, is an Australian professional soccer player who has established himself as a goalkeeper in the A-League and various Australian football competitions. Standing at 1.85 meters tall, James began his senior career with the Newcastle Jets, where he progressed through the club's youth system and signed his first senior scholarship contract in October 2018 alongside teammate Jack Simmons. This signing marked the transition from promising youth talent to professional athlete, setting the stage for his future development in the sport. His career nearly featured an early highlight when he was considered as a substitute goalkeeper for the 2018 A-League Grand Final, though he was ultimately deemed ineligible due to not having participated in the 2017–18 Y-League, a disappointing twist that nevertheless signaled his growing reputation within the club. After earning recognition for his potential and shot-stopping abilities, James received his first international call-up in July 2019 when he was selected for the Australian under-20 national team. He went on to earn four caps for the side and contributed significantly to their victory at the 2019 AFF U-19 Youth Championship held in Vietnam, adding to his earlier international success at the 2016 AFF U-16 Youth Championship in Cambodia where he represented the U-17 team. The young goalkeeper faced a significant setback in early 2020 when he ruptured ligaments in his hand during training, sidelining him for several months and delaying his professional debut. However, he made a successful return to make his A-League debut for Newcastle Jets in their final match of the 2019–20 season against Wellington Phoenix, earning praise from coach Carl Robinson for his composed performance between the posts. In December 2020, James extended his contract with Newcastle Jets by three years through 2026 before immediately joining Western Sydney Wanderers on loan for the 2020–21 A-League season. This move marked the beginning of several strategic loan spells that would characterize his career development and provide valuable senior playing time, including stints with Western Sydney Wanderers NPL in 2021, Dandenong Thunder SC for the 2022 NPL Victoria season where he made 25 appearances and established himself as a reliable presence, and Sydney Olympic in 2024 where he contributed 20 appearances in the National Premier Leagues competition. Throughout his extensive career from 2018 to the present, James has consistently balanced his professional commitments between the Newcastle Jets senior A-League squad, where he has registered eight appearances, and their NPL development side, demonstrating unwavering dedication to gaining match experience at various competitive levels of Australian football while representing his country with distinction at multiple youth international levels.
