Nina Arianda Matijcio known as Nina Arianda (born September 18, 1984) is an esteemed American actress. She achieved recognition by winning the 2012 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her enthralling performance as Vanda Jordan in Venus in Fur. She was spotlighted in 2011 for her nomination for Tony Award as the Best Actress in a Play for portraying the charming character Billie Dawn in Born Yesterday. In addition to her theatre achievements, Arianda has made significant contributions to the television and film industry. Known for her diverse roles, she brought memorable roles to life in the Amazon Studios legal series Goliath and also in the biographical film Stan & Ollie (2018), where she brilliantly characterized Stan Laurel's wife, Ida. Arianda's Broadway debut was in April 2011 in the lead role of Billie Dawn in the Broadway production of Born Yesterday. Her performances received wide critical acclaim, enhancing her reputation in the entertainment industry. Arianda showed off her talent in the Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Tales From Red Vienna in 2014. Not limited with theatre, Arianda displayed her wide range of skills in several films including Win Win, Tower Heist, Midnight in Paris, Rob the Mob, and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby. She garnered considerable attention when she was cast for Hannibal season 3 as Molly. Arianda starred in Fool for Love at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in July 2014 with Sam Rockwell and reprised her roles on Broadway at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in 2015. Her other significant roles include playing Agnes Stark in the film Florence Foster Jenkins (2016) and appearing in the film Stan & Ollie (2018).
