He was a substantial player for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). His skill and prowess on the field were recognized during his stint with the Lions in 1980. From his college football days at the University of the Pacific, Mike showed potential and determination. This led him to be undrafted in 1980, marking the beginning of his professional career. Apart from the Lions, Mike also played for the Arizona Wranglers in 1983 in the United States Football League (USFL). His contribution to the Wranglers added to his recognition and reputation.
