Mia Wasikowska, born on 25 October 1989, is an internationally recognized Australian actress. Her career began with a debut in the Australian television drama All Saints in 2004, leading to her first film role in Suburban Mayhem in 2006. She gained widespread recognition for her work on HBO's In Treatment in 2008, earning a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female for That Evening Sun in 2009. Wasikowska's breakthrough role came in 2010 as Alice in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, catapulting her to worldwide fame. She reprised this role in 2016 in Alice Through the Looking Glass.
