Laura Allen (born March 21, 1974) is a versatile American actress whose career spans over two decades of television, film, and theater work. Raised on Bainbridge Island, Washington, after being born in Portland, Oregon, she is the middle child of three sisters and developed an early interest in social issues, eventually majoring in sociology at Wellesley College where she graduated in 1996.
