Larry Bagby, born Lawrence Bagby III on March 7, 1974 in Marysville, California, U.S., is an American actor and musician whose career spans over three decades. From an early age he was immersed in performance art, thanks to a father who played in a dance band, which sparked his fascination with rhythm and stage presence. After graduating high school, Bagby served a two‑year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints in the Argentina Córdoba Mission (1994‑1996), an experience that broadened his cultural outlook and later informed his nuanced portrayals of diverse characters. He entered the entertainment industry in 1988, initially appearing as a teenager in cult classics such as Airborne and the holiday favorite Hocus Pocus, where he earned lasting recognition as Ernie ‘Ice’. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Bagby built a solid television résumé with memorable guest spots on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (as Larry Blaisdell), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Cold Case, Malcolm in the Middle, and JAG, demonstrating a versatile range that oscillates between drama, comedy, and action.
