From his earliest years he was steeped in a multicultural family background, with a German father and an Indian mother, an upbringing that has subtly informed the depth of his performances. He first stepped onto the stage at the tender age of eleven, appearing in productions at the renowned Ernst Deutsch Theater and the Winterhuder Fährhaus, where his natural talent quickly caught the attention of local directors.
