Kevin Layne Jr. is a proficient professional footballer hailing from Georgetown, Guyana. Born on the 1st of January in 1998, he started his professional career in his home country before expanding his horizons internationally. He has grown into a versatile player, primarily specializing as a centre-back but also showcasing capabilities as a competent defensive midfielder. He stands tall with a height of 1.85 meters, providing him an advantage on the football pitch for aerial duels and defensive contributions. Kevin has had the opportunity to play for multiple teams over the course of his career, demonstrating his perseverance and adaptability to different styles of play and strategies. His football journey started in 2016 with the Monedderlust, and later he moved to play for the New Amsterdam United during the period of 2017-2018. His journey continued to the Guyana Defence Force from 2019-2021. Currently, he plays for the Cosmopolitan Soccer League club Sunnydale FC and represents the Guyana national team on the international stage.
