Kamil Szeptycki was born on 27 January 1991 in Immenstadt, Germany, to Polish parents who had fled the Communist regime. His mother, Małgorzata Szeptycka, was an actress who introduced him to the performing arts at an early age, and the family returned to Poland when he was two, settling in Wrocław. There he attended Agnieszka Osiecka High School, where his passion for drama deepened, and later graduated from the Wrocław branch of the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in 2016. Growing up in a bicultural environment, Szeptycki became fluent in both German and Polish, a skill that later enriched his acting versatility.
