Jonathan Cherry (born December 3, 1978) is a Canadian actor whose career has spanned more than two decades, showcasing a versatile range across horror, comedy, and drama. He first appeared on screen in the early 2000s with a supporting role in the Fox television film Till Dad Do Us Part (2001) and quickly followed with a part in the low‑budget horror picture They (2002). Cherry’s breakout came in 2003 when he was cast as the lead in Uwe Boll’s video‑game adaptation House of the Dead, a film that, despite critical panning, cemented his visibility among genre fans. That same year he delivered a memorable performance as Rory in Final Destination 2, a role he described as the opposite of his own personality, evolving from indifference to frantic terror.
