Javier Gutiérrez Álvarez is an acclaimed Spanish actor, best known for his various roles in both film and television. Born on 17 January 1971 in the Asturian parish of Luanco, he has an illustrious career that spans nearly two decades since his cinematic debut in 2002. Notably, he garnered popularity for his sidekick role as Satur in the television series Águila Roja. In 2014, his performance in the crime thriller 'Marshland' catapulted him to widespread acclaim and recognition. He has since proved his mettle in movies such as The Motive, Champions, The Daughter, and Prison 77 and television series Estoy vivo and Vergüenza, earning him two coveted Goya awards for Best Actor. Gutiérrez's early life was split between his birthplace Luanco, and Ferrol, Galicia, where he moved when he was about a year old.
