Hichem Yacoubi is a talented Tunisian-born French actor, best known for his role in the critically-acclaimed film A Prophet (Un prophète) in 2009, directed by Jacques Audiard. Born on April 4, 1964, in Tunis, Tunisia, Yacoubi has had a rich acting career that officially began in 2005. Besides acting, Yacoubi's creative pursuits extended to theatre and dance. He even participated in a course at the reputed Actors Studio.
