She first drew significant professional attention when she hosted 'The Morning After', Hulu's daily pop culture show that aired from 2011-2012. Gonzaga's talent has led her to numerous guest and recurring roles on television, and she has been cast in the main lineup of several series including 'Mixology', 'Wrecked', and 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law'. Diversifying her resume even further, Gonzaga played a pivotal role as Helen Tasker in the 2023 series 'True Lies'. She was raised in Modesto, California, and attended both the University of California, Berkeley and University of California, Santa Barbara. She graduated a year early to study at The Groundlings School and moved on to study improv at Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade.
