Emmy Raver-Lampman, born as Emily Christine Raver Lampman on September 5, 1988, is an American actress and singer widely recognized for her remarkable career both in musical theater and television. She made her mark first as a performer in various revered Broadway and national touring productions, including Hair, Jekyll & Hyde, Wicked, and Hamilton. She further cemented her position in the industry by landing the character of Allison Hargreeves in the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy since 2019.

Born and bred in Norfolk, Virginia, Emmy had a diverse upbringing, having lived in several countries due to her mother's work. She stepped into the world of performing arts at a young age and furthered her passion by attending Governor's School for the Arts and Marymount Manhattan College. Her first professional theater role came in 2010 in the production of Children of Eden, leading her to earn her Equity card through the national tour of Hair. Emmy made her Broadway debut in 2011, and since then, she has been a part of several monumental productions, earning various roles in the original ensemble cast of the world-renowned Broadway play, Hamilton. In 2019, Emmy was featured on the album Seven Nights in Chicago by Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal. Her TV career took off in 2017 with The Umbrella Academy, and she had notable guest roles in shows like A Million Little Things and Jane the Virgin.
