Edwin Martel Basil Hodge, born on January 26, 1985, is an accomplished and renowned American actor. He is perhaps best recognized for his portrayal of Dante Bishop in filmdom's The Purge series, with the distinction of being the only actor to feature in all of the initial three films. Hodge embarked on his acting career in 1993 and, to this day, continues honing his craft. Edwin's talent saw its genesis and continued cultivation in a diverse setting, being born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, but coming of age amidst the thriving art and culture scene of New York. Hodge was born to Aldis Basil Hodge and Yolette Evangeline Richardson, both of whom served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Edwin Hodge shares a close bond with his brother, fellow actor Aldis Hodge. Edwin's career is not only confined to the silver screens of Hollywood as he showcases his talent on television too, guest starring on hit shows like TNT series Leverage and One Tree Hill. In addition to his illustrious role in The Purge series, he also played notable characters in other horror films like 'As Above, So Below'. In the realm of TV dramas, he is appreciated for his role as firefighter Rick Newhouse on Chicago Fire.
