Drusilla Wills was a British stage and film actress born on 14 November 1884 in London, England. She made her stage debut in 1902 and went on to build a prolific career that spanned nearly five decades in the entertainment industry. Wills became known for her character roles, bringing depth and personality to a wide variety of supporting parts in British cinema during the early-to-mid twentieth century. One of her most memorable screen appearances came in Alfred Hitchcock's early thriller Murder! (1930), where she played a jury member, contributing to the atmospheric tension of the film. She also appeared in another Hitchcock production, The Lodger (1932), further cementing her association with the legendary director's early works. Throughout the 1930s, Wills was a familiar face in British films, taking on roles in productions such as Britannia of Billingsgate (1933), The Medicine Man (1933), The Black Abbot (1934), and The Night Club Queen (1934). Her career continued through the 1940s with notable appearances in The Man in Grey (1943), Welcome, Mr. Washington (1944), Champagne Charlie (1944), and Johnny Frenchman (1945). Her final film was The Queen of Spades (1949), which marked the end of a long and distinguished career in film.
