Desmond Dube (born 25 January 1969) is a celebrated South African comedian, actor, writer, and producer whose career has spanned over three decades. From his early days performing in the vibrant Johannesburg theatre scene, Dube quickly became known for his dynamic stage presence and sharp comedic timing, earning roles in productions such as Jozi Jozi, Peto, and the musical Street Sisters. His versatility shone through when he tackled the classic Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, and he later contributed to industrial theatre projects for major entities like Eskom and the AIDS Show, showcasing his commitment to socially relevant performance art.
