Danielle Deadwyler, born on May 3, 1982, is an illustrious American actress, who began her artistic journey on the Atlanta stage, taking on roles, notably in the 2009 production of For Colored Girls. A step forward in her career was her screen debut in the 2012 drama film A Cross to Bear. Danielle shaped her craft further through significant roles in the soap opera The Haves and the Have Nots, the drama series P-Valley, the miniseries Station Eleven and From Scratch.
