Chris Eigeman: Movies & Box Office

Christopher Eigeman, born March 1, 1965, is a multi-talented American actor, film director, screenwriter, and producer. Eigeman is well recognized for his stellar performances in films written and directed by Whit Stillman such as Metropolitan (1990), Barcelona (1994), and The Last Days of Disco (1998). Besides these, he also showcased his exceptional acting skills in Noah Baumbach's works such as Kicking and Screaming (1995), Mr. Jealousy, and Highball (both 1997). He made recurring appearances in popular TV shows including Malcolm in the Middle, Gilmore Girls, Girls, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Eigeman was born in Denver, Colorado, in 1965 and completed his education at The Putney School, Vermont, and Kenyon College, Ohio, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Theatre in 1987. His acting career spans numerous theatrical films and television series, exhibiting his wide range of talent. Notably, in 1992, Eigeman ventured into the realm of science fiction, filming a pilot for an American version of the British cult sci-fi television show Red Dwarf. His distinctive performances, highlighted by his sarcastic, straight-ahead delivery, marked his presence in a series of television advertisements for Pacific Bell during the mid-1990s. Furthermore, Eigeman extended his skillset into filmmaking by writing and directing the film Turn the River (2007).
