Aryan Simhadri: Movies & Box Office

Aryan Simhadri (born May 6, 2006) is an American actor who has quickly become one of the most recognizable faces among the new generation of teen performers. Born in Ventura, California, Simhadri began appearing on screen at a very young age, with his first credited work dating back to 2013 when he was just seven years old. His early roles were primarily small parts in television comedies and voice‑over work, such as the short‑lived series Just Roll with It in 2019 and the animated children's program Mira, Royal Detective in 2020. These formative experiences allowed him to develop a versatile skill set that would serve him well in later, more substantial projects. In 2020 he made his feature‑film debut in the Netflix family adventure The Main Event, playing a supporting character who contributed to the film’s energetic ensemble. The following year he earned his first starring role in the teen romantic comedy Spin, sharing the screen with established actors Meera Syal and Abhay Deol, which demonstrated his ability to carry a narrative arc. Simhadri continued to expand his résumé with a supporting part in Disney+’s family comedy Cheaper by the Dozen in 2022, further cementing his relationship with the streaming giant. His breakthrough arrived in 2023 when he was cast as Grover Underwood, the loyal satyr guardian, in the highly anticipated Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians; critics praised his performance as both sweet and amusing and noted that he brought unexpected depth to a mythic character traditionally portrayed by older actors. The role earned him widespread recognition and introduced him to an international audience. In addition to screen work, Simhadri has taken his talents to the stage, appearing as Walter in the off‑Broadway production of Trevor: The Musical, showcasing his singing and live‑performance abilities.
