Angourie Isabel Teresa Rice is an Australian actress, getting her start as a child actress. Her career started gaining traction as she played pivotal roles in movies such as These Final Hours (2013) and The Nice Guys (2016). She earned notable acclaim for her role as Betty Brant in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, featuring in several Spider-Man films between 2017 and 2021. She bagged the AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in Ladies in Black (2018). In 2024, she took on the role of Cady Heron in the musical film Mean Girls. Rice's television credits include the Black Mirror episode 'Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too' (2019), HBO miniseries Mare of Easttown (2021), and the Apple TV+ miniseries The Last Thing He Told Me (2023). Born in Sydney, Rice spent some years in Perth, Western Australia, and Munich, Germany, before relocating to Melbourne. Despite international success, she is frequently away filming, mainly in the USA. Rice began her career with Australian television credits and short films shot in Western Australia.
