Alix Wilton Regan is a British actress whose career spans stage, screen, and interactive media, and she has become particularly renowned for her versatile voice work in high‑profile video game franchises. Born Alix Sophie Wilton Regan on 26 January 1986 in London, England, she attended L'Ile Aux Enfants primary school before moving on to the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle and later Latymer Upper School for her A‑Levels, demonstrating an early aptitude for languages and performance. In addition to her formal schooling, she honed her craft at the Sylvia Young Theatre School and Stage Coach, where she received intensive training in acting, singing, and dance, laying a solid foundation for her future professional endeavors. After graduation she broke a historical barrier by becoming the youngest ever student accepted into the NCDT and CDS accredited Drama Studio London, where she earned two special commendations from the BBC Radio Carleton Hobbs Awards for Best Shakespearean Monologue and Best Contemporary Duologue. Her professional debut came at age 20 with the role of Hannah in James Saunders' two‑handed Retreat, a production that won the FringeReview Award for Most Outstanding Theatre Show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2007 and subsequently transferred to London’s New End Theatre. Since then she has appeared in a litany of respected venues—including the Theatre Royal Haymarket, the Tricycle Theatre, the King's Head, the Arcola, and the Landor—while also sharing the stage opposite Jonathan Pryce in Michael Attenborough’s final King Lear at the Almeida Theatre. In film, Regan portrayed Mary Shelley in Nora Unkel’s A Nightmare Wakes and took on the role of Susannah Castleman in The Wife, acting alongside Glenn Close, Jonathan Pryce, and Max Irons, and she later appeared in the feature The Isle with Conleth Hill and Alex Hassell. Her directorial debut came in April 2019 with the short She Lies Sleeping, created for the London Sci‑Fi Film Festival 48‑Hour Challenge, and she is a founding director of the London On Film Festival, which operates out of the pioneering social‑enterprise Lexi Cinema. Regan’s voice‑acting résumé includes iconic characters such as Calista in The Last Story, Samantha Traynor in Mass Effect 3, the female Inquisitor in Dragon Age: Inquisition, Aya in Assassin’s Creed Origins, and the goddess Selemene in Netflix’s Dota: Dragon’s Blood, cementing her status as a distinguished talent in the gaming industry.
