Alexandra Anna Daddario, born in New York City on March 16, 1986, is an accomplished American actress. She is well known for her breakthrough role portraying Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson film series (2010–2013). Since then, she has gathered rich and varied experience, starring in Hall Pass (2011), Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013), San Andreas (2015), Baywatch (2017), and We Summon the Darkness (2019). She was raised on Manhattan's Upper East Side, attending Brearley School and the Professional Children's School. Aspired to become an actress at the age of 11, she attended Marymount Manhattan College before dropping out to pursue acting full-time. Daddario's elder child to Christina, a lawyer, and Richard Daddario, a prosecutor and former head of the NYC Police Department counterterrorism unit.

In 2021, she received critical acclaim and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her role in the HBO series The White Lotus. Her career took another step forward in 2023, as she began playing the lead role in the AMC horror series Mayfair Witches. Earlier in her career, she had played important roles in other popular series, including the first season of HBO anthology series True Detective and the disaster film San Andreas. Daddario also made appearances in Nicholas Sparks romantic drama film The Choice, the film adaptation of Baywatch, and the road trip comedy The Layover. More recently, Daddario took on animated roles, lending her voice to Lois Lane in the superhero animated film Superman: Man of Tomorrow in 2020. Her personal life has seen major milestones, including her marriage to Andrew Form in 2022 and the birth of her first child in 2024.
