You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You (1964): Cast

D.A. Pennebaker describes this elusive documentary of Timothy Leary’s 1969 marriage to model Nena von Schlebrugge at the Hitchcock house in Millbrook, New York—a gathering touted as the “wedding of the season.” Leary had spent the previous year indulging in hallucinogenic experiments after leaving Harvard. Pennebaker, taken downtown by Blackwood, meets singer‑hairdresser Monte Rock III, who styled the bride, while Nena’s brother Bjorn “the Baron,” a Hitchcock friend, assures the filming is warranted. Pennebaker had long wanted to capture a wedding on film.
