On a harsh, wind-swept desert that feels like a distant echo of a primordial world, Yor moves as a roving hunter, cutting a wide arc through the stone-tower landscape of Cappadocia, Turkey. In a nearby village, Kalaa, a rugged cavewoman, travels with her mentor and protector, Pag, as they hunt a small, pig-like Polacanthus. When a formidable crossbreed of dinosaurs—a stegoceratops—charges into the scene, [Yor] swings his axe with practiced ease and brings the creature down, drinking its blood in a grave, almost ritual calm. The village greets the stranger with wary welcome, and the feast begins as they carve up the quarry, savoring their hard-won meats and stitching together a fragile alliance.

During the celebration, a pack of bluish, primal cavemen descends on the settlement. Only [Yor] and Pag manage to escape the carnage. He vows to recover Kalaa, and the trio sets out to track the attackers to their hidden lair. Along the way, [Yor] proves his prowess by felling a giant bat with his bow and arrow, then ingeniously using the carcass as a makeshift hang glider to storm the cave. Floodwaters burst into the tunnels, a calculated distraction that floods the lair and forces a chaotic retreat. In the back corridors, they manage to pull Kalaa free, but the rising torrent seals the fate of many captives and attackers alike, sweeping the rest to their deaths as they flee into the rain of rock and water.

Kalaa and Pag decide to shadow [Yor] on his quest to uncover the truth about his origins. Their journey leads them to a hidden society of sand-mummies ruled by a striking blonde woman named Roa, who wears an amulet eerily similar to Yor’s own. [Yor] moves through the strange ranks with cautious, relentless purpose, clearing the way for the group and leaving many sealed behind. He singles out Roa as a potential key to their path, and a tense tension builds between them as Kalaa eyes Roa with suspicion. In the end, Roa is spared by Yor, who believes she will play a crucial role in their voyage, while Kalaa’s own instincts push her toward a more immediate confrontation. A sudden assault by more blue cavemen fractures the uneasy alliance, and the trio rushes to Roa’s side, only to see her struck down from behind and fall into Yor’s arms.

The trio later finds temporary refuge among another tribe after rescuing some children from a dimetrodon, but their fragile safety is shattered when unseen flying saucers shoot lasers across the sky and annihilate the settlement. Undeterred, they commandeer a boat and set course for a storm-wracked island, where a startling revelation awaits: Yor discovers that his parents were survivors of a nuclear holocaust, and his world is, in truth, a post-apocalyptic Earth. The ruthless Overlord has seized the remaining nuclear technology and mobilized an army of androids, intending to use Kalaa—the so-called genetically perfect woman—and Yor to build a new master race capable of ruling the planet.

On the island, Yor finds allies in Ena, a brilliant scientist, and the mysterious blind Elder, who have spent years plotting to topple the Overlord. Ena greets Yor with cautious optimism, recognizing in him a potential catalyst for change, while the Elder’s quiet wisdom becomes a steady beacon for their cause. Together, they set a bold plan in motion: to assault the fortress, seize the stockpile of atomic power, and destroy the Overlord’s fortress once and for all. Ena guides them to the fortress’s stockpile, where powerful explosives are planted to annihilate both the stockpile and the fortress itself. The Elder stays behind to deactivate the android army, buying precious moments for the others to escape. The Overlord closes in, forcing a tense confrontation with Yor, who fights back with grit and resolve, finally impaling the tyrant by hurling a nearby pole through a window.

Mortally wounded, the Overlord pushes onward toward the stockpile, as Yor and Ena shepherd the rebels to safety. Pag, now cornered by the relentless androids, is left to fend for himself, but the Elder’s decisive action later disables the machines, buying more time for the escape. The group boards one of the Overlord’s ships just as the stockpile detonates, and the base erupts behind them. As the ship powers away from the doomed citadel, the Overlord’s craft spirals toward destruction. In the end, the narrator’s voice lingers on Yor’s resolve: Yor returns to the surviving tribes and commits to using his knowledge to steer them away from the mistakes of their forefathers, hoping to secure a future that might—or might not—ever come to pass. Will he succeed?
