What Is Whistle Stop About?
The premise of Whistle Stop without spoilers.
Moscow academician Pavel Pavlovich spends his vacation in a seaside village. While sketching he befriends Grishka and foreman's daughter Nyuska. Together they build a stove, repair a sewing machine and fix a telephone switchboard. When he falls ill the villagers care for him, and when he leaves he feels the village has taken a piece of his heart.
