Vengeance of an Assassin 2014

Thee Dan Chupong and his brother Than are two young men raised by their uncle, a former detective who now runs a small car repair shop. Their curiosity about a locked room in the workshop grows until one evening they wheedle their uncle into letting them in, getting him drunk enough to sneak inside. There they uncover clues that their parents were also undercover detectives who were killed in an ambush by an unknown attacker. Their uncle, Ping Lumpraploeng, had once sworn to shield the family from that dangerous life and to raise the brothers away from the old profession he himself walked away from.

Learning the truth sets Thee on a singular path: he vows to uncover who killed their parents, while Than stays behind at the shop, training in martial arts by watching old VHS tapes in a back room. The brothers drift onto divergent roads—one chasing justice, the other honing his skills in seclusion—yet both carry the weight of a past that refuses to stay buried.

To move this quest forward, Thee joins a ruthless team of killers, intent on climbing the ladder to the person who ordered the deadly hit. Along the way he is hired to protect Ploy, Nisachon Tuamsoongnuen, a young woman with dyed blonde hair who is the granddaughter of a powerful businessman. The assignment seems straightforward, but the mission soon spirals as Thee discovers that Ploy is the real target and that he has been set up to take the blame for her murder. He is double-crossed during the job, yet his tenacity and fighting spirit push him to rescue Ploy and lead them on the run.

As they flee, the pair heads back to his family home, where a hidden network of power and corruption begins to unravel before them.
