Pete (played by Michael Begley), a struggling electronic music DJ, provides the soundtrack as his girlfriend Sheila Katy Cavanagh performs a stripogram at a retirement party for a curmudgeonly old salesman known as Throat Rodney Litchfield. The party takes a grim turn when Throat dies during the celebration, and Pete is quickly offered a new job replacing him. He is paired with Tommy Rag, a brutally ambitious high-earning salesman Timothy Spall who embodies the fierce, relentless push for sales that the company prizes.
